Our 177-181 DSFD Switchview throw lever is our definition of simplification. The two-screw design increases adaptability for a more precise fit on various scope brands and models.
This throw lever will fit almost any magnification ring on a scope within the size range of 1.77-1.81″
We’ve integrated our new “folding” design into the 177-181 DSFD Switchview throw lever for several reasons. The main reason is it won’t hang up on stuff! Whether you’re using your rifle for hunting, competition, or work, you’ll find that the new folding design offers many benefits over our fixed levers.
We usually mount the Switchview so the lever folds back towards the rear of the gun. This way it will fold down when you’re stuffing it into a soft case, discarding it into a drop box in a competition or dragging it through the bushes and trees on a hunt. If you want it to be a little “stiffer” you can add a little tension to the screw that holds it in place.
Just like our entire line of standard and folding Switchview throw levers, we machine the parts out of 6061-T6 aluminum. We also hard anodize all of our aluminum products to provide you many years of “hard use” no matter what you’re doing with your gear. We’re also proud to say that 100% of the Switchview product line is manufactured in the United States of America.

Only thing I do is put the shorter lever on, but that is a personal preference item I am happy to pay a little more for. I appreciate having the option available.

I was very disappointed to find out that yall changed the design of this part number by replacing it with a ring that has a knob cut-out in it. I still bought it but it doesn’t look as good as a ring that doesn’t have a cut-out since the Vortex Viper Gen2 doesn’t have a knob on its power ring. I give your salesman a 10. He was exstreamly helpful and went out of his way trying to find one or put together a ring combination that would fit my scope that didn’t have a cut-out. He’s the reason I still bought it.

I’ve used Switchview levers for years, shooting ground squirrels in sub-freezing temperatures. Sitting at a bench, I dial the magnification up and down constantly; hundreds of times per day.
